We are not your average orchestra. We are a string quartet. We are chamber musicians. We are a symphony orchestra. We are the Arabian Philharmonic.
We are a collection of passionate, professional musicians from all over the world who really love what we do! Using our cosmopolitan home as inspiration, we blend classical western orchestral traditions with innovative and contemporary compositions to reflect our global culture.
While our roots are steeped in tradition, we are active creators of the present. We are not just about concert halls and symphonies. Our concerts have seen us support Andrea Bocelli to a 10 000 strong crowd at Du Arena, Abu Dhabi, perform in the heritage surrounds of AlUla and Khobar in Saudi Arabia, play club classics alongside the Manchester Camerata for Hacienda Classical at the Dubai Opera, perform for a live audience of millions at Pope Francis’ history making UAE Papal Mass, headline Symphony in the Park at Um Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi, support Katherine Jenkins in recital at Dubai Opera, work with Arabic composers for Broken Wings, play in the Broadway’s longest running musical Phantom of the Opera and perform at the Sustainability Awards and World Urban Forum 2020.

CONCERTS
Andrea Bocelli
We were privileged to support the world’s most loved classical tenor, Andrea Bocelli as he enchanted audiences at his sold-out open-air concert on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Performing to an audience of 10 000, our musicians provided the perfect backing to Andrea Bocelli’s unique blend of opera and popular music.
Symphony in the Park
We were delighted to headline our own first open-air concert at Abu Dhabi’s unique live music event— Symphony in the Park. Held at Umm Al Emarat Park, the concert saw our musicians perform a range of classical repertoire to the diverse Abu Dhabi community in a uniquely casual setting.
Papal Mass UAE
We were deeply honored to have been involved in the history making Papal Mass as part of the historic UAE Papal visit. Unprecedented in scale, this unique occasion saw our musicians play in the region’s first public Catholic mass led by Pope Francis. With a live audience of over 135 000 at Zayed Sports Stadium, Abu Dhabi and an online audience in the millions, this was truly a once in a lifetime experience!
Education
Be it streaming music on their smartphones, standing in line for hours waiting for their favorite artists, or making music with their friends on YouTube, we know that young people love, music! Our educational outreach aims to pass on the joy of classical music to the next generation.
